We offer worldwide flat rate shipping. Thus, no matter how many items you purchase, you will only pay a $9.95 shipping fee.

Delivery time is determined by the delivery method, destination, customs clearance time (if applicable), and so on. Please note that our items are shipped from one of our warehouses in Hong Kong or China. You can also choose expedited or express delivery via EMS/FedEx/DHL/UPS at an extra charge.

What factors will affect delivery time?

The delivery time includes processing and shipping time. Processing time means the time we handle the order internally.

The steps in processing an order: 
Step 1: Order is printed by our system (0-2 business day)
Step 2: Order is packaged by our storehouse (1-3 business days)
Step 3: Package is carried to Post Office or Express Center (1 day)
Step 4: Package is processed by the post office/express center to your destination.

Delivery time is determined by where the order is shipped to, which is the main element that affects delivery time. Moreover, the specific customs policy of the destination country also influences the delivery time.

Customs Duties and Import VAT

Your package may be subject to customs tax and VAT (Value Added Tax) once it arrives in your country.  We predominately ship products from Hong Kong, which is a free port. Because there is no sale tax imposed by the Hong Kong government, customers will not pay any tax when shopping from us generally. As per our recent data, only less than 1% of the package shipped were opened and checked by customs.

Customers are responsible to pay for the taxes if import taxes are charged. Although the possibility to have import taxes is close to zero, we strongly suggest that you become familiar with your import policy before you complete your purchase. When ordering from Dakimakura Anime Pillows.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Clearance Fees

Couriers handling some packages may charge you a clearance fees for processing your order through the customs office and it is your responsibility to complete the payment in order to receive it.

Nondeliverable Packages

Sometimes, packages are returned to us by the post service as nondeliverable, which means either the shipping address was incorrect, attempts by the local post office/courier to deliver the package failed, the package was unclaimed, the recipient did not pay customs tax, or the package was refused by the recipient.

We refund only the item price subtotal when an order is returned to us as nondeliverable. Items that have been returned to us as nondeliverable will be restocked immediately and we are not able to ship them again. If you would still like to purchase the items, please place your order online again.

We send shipping confirmation e-mails upon shipping orders. It mentions the span of time estimated for delivery. If you do not receive your package within the span of time, please call your local depot/post office to see if they might be holding the package for you. In case you are absent at the time of delivery, the package may be taken back to the depot/post office until you claim it. Sometimes a note with contact information will be left in your absence, but occasionally the postal service/courier may simply repeat attempts to deliver the package without leaving any note to make you aware that attempts have been made.
